Having just celebrated my 1-year blogoversary, and with the new year stealthily peering at me from around the corner, I figured that it was high time to bust out the lasso and to reign in the most popular recipes from the past year.

Global warming had me swindled…
Here I was, basking in the glory of 16-degree weather as we closed in on the end of November, being lulled by the unnatural and uncharacteristic late-fall-temperatures. Just when I was starting to feel a wee bit cocky (read: moseying around sockless) wham!, winter came in on its righteous steed; giving me emotional-whiplash.
I find it genuinely ridiculous that something as absurdly-delicious as my beloved sweet potato could also be so impressively nutritious.
Conundrum?
No, not here. I made peace with this apparent oxymoron years ago. And have continually stoked the symbolic-fire that is my romance with the best-of-both-worlds spud.
