So mayybe the title is slightly misleading.
It’s not ‘key’ lime yogurt, per se…
For the mere simple fact that I didn’t actually get my hot little paws on any actual key limes.
Deception aside, this yogurt is really yummy. And super easy. And will save you moolah.
The flavoured Greek yogurts at the grocery store’ll cost you a much-needed right leg.
Or, at best, a fleshed-up phalange.
By making your own yogurt at home (read: easy and cheap) and mixing in these commonplace ingredients, you’ll not only keep all of your limbs and digits, but you’ll gain bragging rights.
This yogurt is delish on its own or layered in a parfait with homemade granola and fresh fruit.
Key Lime Greek Yogurt
1/2 cup plain greek yogurt (I used homemade organic)
zest from 1 lime
1/4 tsp pure vanilla extract
1 package stevia
1. In a small bowl, combine all of the ingredients; stirring well to ensure that they are very well incorporated. Start with the zest from 1/2 a lime and 1/2 pack of stevia and taste. Adjust according to your preferences; adding more zest/more stevia to suit your taste.
